I would like to thank all of this year’s Leadership for the amazing job they have done in such an adverse situation. I would also like to thank every member of this club, you all have created such an amazing community, truly a family, and it is amazing to see the growth everyone has exhibited this year and last. I wish I could meet you all in person, and truly get to know each and every one of you. Until then, I wish to show you what I will bring to this club and maybe show you a bit of who I am.

For those of you who do not know me, I am currently a Junior, I have been in model congress for two years now, and I love most of all just talking with people (and music, which I will also gladly talk with you about). For my entire life, the places and communities which have helped me grow into myself I have regarded with a fierce loyalty and passion. Such as at the camp where I learned to participate and form strong bonds with others, where I now work as a counselor giving the experience I cherished to new and younger campers. For the last two years which I have had the privilege of being a part of Model Congress, I have learned and grown an incredible amount. Whereas I had before struggled to give voice to my opinions and ideas in front of just one person, I now have attended several conferences in which I make speeches to hundreds. My experience in Model Congress has meant so much personally to me, and I would give any number of hours towards making this club as incredible as it has been for me to both members new and familiar. I am willing to sit down and talk with anyone who needs or wants to at any time. The happiness and feeling of safety of all members of the club (and potential members!) is of the utmost importance to me.

The position of role model and the great responsibilities that come with being Secretary of Outreach is not something I take lightly. It will certainly be hard to transition back to normal as a club in person. Nonetheless, I am open to the challenge if you will place your trust in me to carry this club forward.
